It's crucial that we inspire and support the next generation of data scientists and data analysts to consider a role in the energy industry. So when we were invited to deliver a guest lecture to the Data Analytics students at the Robert Gordon University (RGU) we jumped at the chance.
Our CCO, Chris, gave an overview of the work we do at OPEX and explained how data science and predictive technologies are being used in the oil and gas industry to improve operational stability, drive down emissions and increase productivity.
We are proud to support the university and have recently worked with them to provide placements for two graduate apprentices in data science.
